Engineering the Doublet Antenna

“I made this doublet connector from a piece of 6mm Nylon 66 I had knocking about. Seems easy enough. I just hope the 450 ohm behaves itself and doesn’t snap. I feel that the connection point is strong, it certainly won’t break and the 450 ohm cable should keep it pointing downwards, reducing sideways wibble-wobble. I’ll try and get the doublet actually up in the tree next weekend. Cheers, Callum.”
