There are many Italian radio amateurs who use special programs to manage the various national and international contests. During this evening we will know the program that our Contest group uses regularly, and the multiple possibilities offered by this free software.
The Board of Directors has decided to propose a special themed evening, in which the partner Andrea IW3SSD belonging to our Contest team, will present the software in question, describing both its installation and subsequent use and external connections to the equipment radio and various decoders.
The technical evening has been set for the day:
Friday 10 January 2020
at 9.00 pm
During the evening, we will learn more about this program which allows us to monitor the entire radio station and the data of the correspondents during the numerous types of contests managed by the system.
It will therefore be possible to deepen together the various topics to better understand the overall functioning and the various configurations used for the QSOs in SSB, CW and RTTY.
A particular study will be done for the use of the program in the next January Contest, listed below.
At the end of the evening, we will cheer you up with a cheerful glass.
Our presenter Members will remain available also at the end of the technical evening, to provide further information and detailed explanations on the functioning of the IT system presented.
The real functioning of the program can be tested during the Contest CQ Bande Basse (40m 80m 160m) SSB / CW , which will be held in Section the following day:
