Bushcomm Horizon Multi-Band Loop Antennas LOOP-20

Antenna, Loop, Magnetic, 20-10M, 125 W PEP, Each

Magnetic- loop antennas have existed almost since radio began. The recent resurgence of interest in them is the result of their small size and relative noise immunity. Bushcomm Horizon Multi-Band Loop Antennas are all aluminum magnetic-loop antennas that are designed for operation as tight-bandwidth transceive or as receive-only antennas.

Bushcomm Horizon loops are characteristically quiet on receive (as are all magnetic loops) and highly efficient on transmit. Due to their physically small size, all antennas of this type transmit on a very narrow SWR bandwidth. However, their unique design allows them to be continuously tunable across their entire rated bandwidth.

Note: To correctly tune for transmit use you will need an antenna analyzer.

These loops are available in two models that cover either 40 through 10 meters or 20 through 10 meters:

Horizon Loop 40:

* 40 through 10 meters (7.0 to 30 MHz, continuous)
* 125w PEP maximum power rating
* Approximately 53.5 in. wide, 40.2 in. high
* 3.5 lbs.

Horizon Loop 20:

* 20 through 10 meters (14.0 to 30 MHz, continuous)
* 125w PEP maximum power rating
* Approximately 28.75 in. wide, 33.5 in. high
* Weight 3.1 lbs.

These antennas are very simple and easy to assemble. They are comprised of few parts, so disassembly for transport is also an easy task.

Parts list:

* 2 loop halves
* 2 loop stands
* 1 gamma matching bar
* 1 capacitive tuning slide
* 2 stand insulators
* 1 gamma match “python clamp”
