Yet another…Yaesu FT-227R “Memorizer” 2M transceiver tested on FM simplex and working fine. Would make a great dedicated packet station or other special use application.
Special Note: In order to hear the receive audio YOU MUST INSERT A 5 PIN DIN PLUG IN THE ACCESSORY PORT AND SHORT PINS 1 AND 4 with these radios.
Supplied with a microphone and power cable. There is a switch installed on the back of this unit which turns off/on the receive audio, but only if there is a 5 Pin DIN plug installed.
