Icom IC-271a for parts

For sale is an IC-271a that is in great cosmetic condition. I used it for three years before its failure. The radio powers on and creates audio but as shown in pictures the display is showing an erroneous frequency. The RAM battery has a good voltage. Other than this error the radio worked well in all modes prior to failure so all the RF components should be good. The optional tone encoder is installed for CTCSS. I had planned to replace the capacitors inside the radio so it comes with a capacitor replacement kit. Located in Kamloops but am willing to meet in the area to deliver. Open to offers or fair trades. Just want the radio to go to a good home where it can be fixed or be an organ donor so another one of these great radios can live again
