Seller Feedback and Scam Report Forum Added to hamshack

Hi All, very happy to announce that a new Seller Feedback Forum has been added to hamshack.ca!

The Hamshack Connect Forum is a new service for hamshack.ca users to share insights and experiences about buying (and selling items) on the site. The Seller Ratings Forum is now available to post ‘after-sale’ reviews on your purchases, aiding others in making informed decisions about specific sellers.  And, I’m unhappy to say that there’s also a Scam Reports section which I hope will be a seldom-used but critical resource for reporting dubious interactions helping to protect the hamshack.ca community.

The Hamshack Connect Forum also includes sections for:

  1. Club Announcements and events
  2. Tips and ‘n Tricks on using hamshack’s advanced features
  3. Requesting new features you’d like to see on the site
  4. Learning Resources for new operators with quizzes
  5. Anything Goes for an open discussion on any subject to do with amateur radio.

Hamshack.ca users are required to read and understand Section 13 of hamshack.ca’s Terms of Use prior to posting on the Hamshack Connect Forum. This is a must-read prior to posting Seller Reviews and or Scam Reports.

The ability to post Seller Reviews has been a frequent request on hamshack.ca, and although it may take some time for this feature to gain ‘traction’, it is hoped that posted Seller Reviews will be a fundamental feature of the site and information that potential buyers review and rely on when exercising their due diligence prior to purchasing an item listed on the site.
