Cushcraft R-5 vertical

This CushCraft R-5 vertical operates on 10, 12, 15, 17 and 30 metres.  It is a half-wave vertical and therefore does not require a large radial system.  It will fit in a very small space.

This antenna is owned by Ron VE3REV but is stored at my home.

The antenna was last used over ten years ago and has since been stored in a protected, climate-controlled environment.  It is now packed in a cardboard tube.

The antenna is in excellent condition except for one deficiency: one of the two L-shaped brackets on the box for the matching transformer has broken.  A simple work-around was to attach a short wire as a jumper between the box and the antenna.  The antenna performed perfectly as expected with this improvised repair.
