5 New Products at DX Engineering for February 2026

Chameleon Antenna CHA CFM Carbon Fiber Portable Telescopic Masts: Available in two models, these 14-section masts are great solutions when there are no trees to hang your wire antenna or when regulations prevent it. Designed for rugged performance and maximum convenience, these self-supporting telescopic masts require no guying, making deployment fast and effortless. They feature a 3/8-24-inch base stud that’s compatible with all Chameleon mounts, including the CHA SPIKE MOUNT and CHA UCM Universal Clamp Mount. The CFM-16 model extends up to 16.5 feet, 5 inches; the CHA CFM-34 extends up to 35 feet, 7 inches. Both models collapse to 17 inches.

Alinco DJ-W70HT 8W 2M/70cm Handheld Transceiver: This HT delivers professional-grade performance with an 8W power output on both VHF and UHF. Built in an IP67-rated dust- and water-tight body, this rugged radio is ready for any environment. Standard features include CTCSS, DTMF, DCS encode/decode, and tone burst for easy repeater access and selective calling. Features include full-color TFT display, direct frequency input, eight-character alphanumeric channel labels, and 200 memory channels that store complete operating parameters. HT comes with Li-ion battery pack, rapid charger, AC adapter, antenna (SMA-P), belt clip, USB-C cable, and manual.

Hamplus AS-81U HF-VHF-UHF Remote Antenna Switch: This high-performance weather-resistant 8 x 1 RF relay unit for use outdoors provides selection of eight antennas to one radio. Features include nine SO-239 (UHF Female) connectors (downward facing); weatherproof screw-on nine-pin connector for the control cable; stainless-steel cabinet with integral bracket for user mounting; operation from DC up to 450 MHz; and Single RF output that is grounded when the power is removed or no antenna selected.

Lido LX-MAX-PRO Vehicle Mount: This low-vibration mount features height adjustments and a quick release base. Height can be adjusted from 15 to 32 inches and everything in between. It has three points of adjustment for angles as well. The L-MAX-PRO and the L-MAX bases are interchangeable, so if you have an L-MAX and need the height adjustment you can use the same base. This package includes the four-hole amp face mount plate.

Alpha Antenna Heavy-Duty Survivor Tripod: Designed to provide exceptional stability, even in high wind conditions, this tripod is perfect for Alpha Antenna models such as the HexTenna, FMJ, and Alpha Loop series. It features a stable footprint that typically requires guying only in very strong winds. Its three independently adjustable legs allow for balanced deployment on uneven terrain, while the tripod offers a total height of 5.25 feet and collapses to a compact size of approximately 42 x 8 x 8 inches for easy transport. Each leg includes a step and ground spike for secure anchoring, and the legs can be positioned nearly flat for maximum stability when conditions demand.
