Gathered in a tent on Bouvet Island—the world’s most remote location (8,000 miles from DX Engineering headquarters)—members of the 3Y0K DXpedition team were interviewed Friday, March 13, 2026 by Tim Duffy, K3LR, DX Engineering CEO.
DX Engineering was a major sponsor of the rare activation.
The interview with the 3Y0K crew, who have been operating from the island since the beginning of March 2026, streamed live on Facebook and YouTube. Hams from around the world tuned in to thank the highly skilled operators for their efforts (100,000 QSOs!) and wish them safe travels home.
