Two super stations suffered enormous losses this August.N0NI, Toni in Iowa:lost 1200 FT of tower (10) and 35 (!) antennas in weather phenomenon called “Derecho”. Similar to category 4-5 hurricane. I operated many times from Toni’s station . Victor -N8OO, in Louisiana:lost shack (flipped, moved) and almost all of the antennas in cat4 hurricane “Laura”. No power until September 7 at least. Family house moved off foundation by 40cm or so.Both probably will rebuild, but that is a LOT of work! 😞N0NI after “Derecho”
