On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, radio club Zottegem ON6ZT / UBA section ZTM plans the Friends Round Flemish Ardennes from a warm air balloon.
ON8VC Jurgen, ON3NSB Niels and ON5MB Bernard provide the round on the well-known frequency 145.550 MHz. Balloon will take off in the Zottegem region (JO10??) and the flight will probably take 1 to 1.5 hours from a maximum of 2500 feet. Balloon will also be trackable via APRS. Start time probably between 6 and 8 p.m.
If you want to follow/work this unique round, put a big exclamation mark in your diary at 10 August . For a balloon flight, everything depends of course on the weather conditions. The round will not take place in case of bad weather.
